The teeth either side of the gap are prepared and shaped as they will have crowns placed over them.
Impressions are taken and a temporary made.
The impressions are sent to a porcelain laboratory and the bridgework is processed.
When the final work is ready you will get to see the shape and colour and your dentist will check the fit. If all is well your bridgework will be bonded onto your teeth.
There are several different types of bridges your dentist will advise you on the most suitable type for you.
